Yeah, ethics appear to escape him. To see all the pics and video go here...

Maybe after seeing the video someone here might be able to guide me how to fix it?

Wow. I've previously heard good things about CCV, enough that I had decided to use them for my top. Can you explain what happened in more detail?

Think long and hard about it... very hard... I have threads of all the detail, photos and a video, along with Derek's own words saying he knew the damage was in the mold and never disclosed it to me, along with insulting because my van is 11 years old and I should not expect a "Flawless" top etc... it's pretty appalling!

Go to expedition portal to read everything... the sub sections are below

Expedition Campers... 4wd (and 2WD) Camper Vans

Yeah, that puts the nail in CCV's coffin for me. It will be SMB or GTRV for me. Or a home job like BoyWonder did.

So as I see it, you need a solution.

I would see what monitory compensation CCV is willing to provide.

I then would suggest getting the top trimmed and fitted to your satisfaction and then "Raptor Lining" or painting it to match.

Just wondering if I'm missing something here. Is this just a problem with his Astro Van tops? (don't get me wrong, the photos in your album are horrible)

It seems like a fair amount of the people here have Colorado Camper Van tops on their Fords and the general responses I've read have been fairly positive. I'm getting ready to drop a fairly significant amount of money on a CCV top and the kind of workmanship I see in those Astro Van pictures sure isn't worth the price.
