Girl needs to learn new skills and hit the road

Hi all! Very new to all of this.
In late April I bought a 1992 Ford E350. I suppose I should have done more research but was a bit impatient to get this party started. I'm mostly starting from scratch and will be learning everything as I go. I'm crafty but haven't done much DIY.
I've got some basics to work on first and in the meantime I'm addicted to YouTube and now here for ideas, how-tos and insights.
For now I'll just be weekend warrior-ing, but eventually I'd like to live whole summers, just me and my big mutt.
I'm also looking forward to being amongst like - minded people and not those that think I'm a bit nuts taking this step.
I call him 'Tortuga'

Welcome to our group from another van-addicted woman! I think you will find this gang to be extremely knowledgeable, talented, and helpful. Post your ideas, questions, and pics, and join the fun! I'm glad you and Tortuga are here!

Welcome. Post up some questions and you will probably get enough answers to keep you busy for quite some time.

Welcome! One of the best ways to learn about our rigs is to camp with us. You can get first hand knowledge of what's on our SMB's.

Offer your general location and beer and you'll find a talented home brew van builder if you want help.

Smile Which model?

Hey everybody,
We are getting our first Sportsmobile soon but are stuck on which model to order. We want the low roof but other than that we are somewhat clueless. If anyone lives near SE Mn or WI and has a low roof van we can look at, please reply. Thanks.

Hey, Jim and Barb, Welcome! You might get more response to your question by posting your own new thread under Welcome Mat and ask for MN/WI help. Just a thought...
