Absolutely ! Setting aside manufacturer platform, I read, and read, and read Build Threads. Each time I do a Build, I learn new strategies ... from mistakes made. Hardest part for me is Patience.
I’ve already sketched out interior build plan, began a ‘spreadsheet’ for materials budget, attempted to set up Alerts on various Classified sites. With last (Step), the Alert idea ... biggest challenge there are ppl who don’t know anything about their vehicle equipment, that are posting ads. Specifically if it is AWD or not.
Without question, sourcing a West Coast AWD Cargo GM Van is BIGGEST hurdle. I’ve never bought a vehicle online, out of area before and the thought really fills me with anxiety.
