Hello from Mexico

Hey everybody! I just wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Richard and i've just bought a 1995 Econoline, we are planning to convert it into a camper van and travel across the PanAmerican Highway in the following couple of years or so.

As you can see it needs a ton of work but engine and transmission looks in good shape, it's a 5.8 with a LPG conversion.

We've just started gutting the interior to deep clean it as it was really dirty, also that way we have a better understanding of the spaces.

What do you guys think? Any advice?

That sounds like a great adventure you have planned. I do think that you will find it very difficult to find LPG. In the states it's not real common, so places to buy it are far fewer than gas stations and in Mexico and Central America I'd bet in most places it's impossible to find, it's hard enough to find gas in many places. Then again, if you can run either, you should be fine Beyond that, you will want a few spare parts and the tools to change them.
