Geez, it's just the guy from the sportsmobile store doing some marketing and community outreach. It doesn't mean the SMB troops are coming to flood the forum with spam. Those guys are way to busy to be spending time on a forum shilling their products anyway Personally, I'm all for the OP to let us know when they've got something new or helpful as well as posting the occasional sale.

20% off for forum members for life

From my perspective, vendors who are responsive, professional, and attentive earn my business. Ujoint is a great example.

If a site owner is deleting content to protect a vendor, it's the site owner who has the problem. Not the vendor.

SMB - welcome to the forum. I look forward to your participation. Engage your audience, don't run from them.

Heck, I'm an Admin here and I don't even own a van, let alone an SMB.

FWIW, if I were a Vendor here or elsewhere, I wouldn't spend my time responding to threads on any forum. There are far too many instances where business owners are 'held hostage' by people complaining about products or services. I think that Yelp is a good example. Started off with the greatest of intentions, but soon people weaponized it to get free or discounted services if they posted (or just threatened to post) bad reviews.
