Iowa Chevy Vanner

Hello everyone, stumbled onto this site and thought it would be a great place to start locating parts for my fan or at least finding links to them. My pride and joy is a 2001 express 2500 2wd and It’s always surprises me on the places it can go. I’ve already found a Yukon brand locker I want to get for it, but I’m having a hard time find a lift kit and wench bumper to start with. So I will be hunting through the older threads to see what I can find. Bone stock, other than tires, I have been able to do easy to some moderate keep trails, and nobody I’ve found makes rock sliders for my van. I don’t do trails just for the sake of trail riding, I like being able to get to some of the beautiful camp spots on IOverlander. So I’m not trying to turn my van into a full on rock crawler or anything, but any protection I can get for it is just that much more peace of mind. Anyway, I just want to introduce my self and my van Rusty.

You might find more info over on Expedition Portal. A lot of people with the Express vans on there. Some here, too, but more Fords.

Weldtec is one of the foremost experts on the Chevy van platform. Makes lots of lift kits, bumpers, etc.

Welcome. There are some GM Van threads on expo. Second Weldtec recommendation for 2500/3500 vans.

I use iOverlander as well.

Good advice above. I had a van named Rusty.

Good luck on your search and build. There isn't much here in terms of this vintage of Chevy but we have a few members who really know them. Jeremy at Weldtec and didn't Denver Fleet do a lot of Chevys for awhile? Someone here chime in.

I don't remember ever seeing a Denver Fleet Chevy, but maybe you're thinking of Boulder Off-Road? They also have Chevy lift offerings:
