I've been lurking for quite some time just reading posts after posts about everyones builds and trips. I've lived in 27sq ft in the back of my Tacoma for 7 months when I lived in Colorado these past 4 years, and built the whole setup myself with the help of my dad, highly functional and super cozy.
I put the truck back to stock on a Saturday, had it sold 9 days later on a Monday, and picked up a van the next Saturday. Found myself a 2001 7.3 EB Cargo van, 1 owner, 266k miles, a few dings and dents from 17 years as a carpenters van. but it runs very well and is solid except for some cosmetic issues.
I've probably built up 10 vehicles of my own in the last 12 years so I'm no stranger to the work. So I've already began ordering parts haha. Advanced Auto Parts online had the MOOG cc880s listed at $92 with free shipping, and then offered 25% off which brought it down to $74 shipped so the front end will be leveled soon and to add tire coverage and some clearance, I am ordering a set of the Advanced Fiberglass front fenders tomorrow
The ultimate goal is to be super functional as home base for when I travel to go scuba diving and store all the gear inside safely. and full time living in it in a few years and head south diving my way to south America.
