New guy in SMB town

Hi, My name is Jim aka "Slacker" ..........I have had the good fortune of purchasing 86scotty's 95 SMB. He is helping me make some extensive modifications to prepare for a long term travel. You may see periodic postings requesting opinions/advice on sorting the rig out for my intended use; Long term travels thru Latin America........hopefully starting late 2016.
I am based in Maryland and Czech Republic currently but have lived in a few other places and still make the rounds through those parts on a regular basis. (Spain and SE Asia).
Looking forward to learning as much as possible about these unusual vehicles as my preparations unfold

My initial plans are South America.........Europe is a possibility as I could ship it from Uruguay but not looking that far down the road. If I can pull it off the South America trip will take 2 years or so......not really looking beyond that!
