I took apart basically the same van as you and there is nothing on the floor for mounting a seat. Its just bare metal.

Sounds like you are on the right track with the transit seats. I am trying to build out a transit currently and the seat bottom is 15-18" off the floor. You should really measure that before you start. They are super tall. The metal legs alone are like 12" high to the underside of the seat.
