New to Vans and new to 4x4 upgrades

Hello,
My name is Jacob I live in Queen Creek, AZ. I have been working on vehicles all my life and I'm new to the Van/4x4 scene. My wife and I are building a Van conversion for boondock camping and who knows maybe living in for months at a time.

We have a 2002 Ford E350 7.3 and a MGmetalworks conversion kit on the way, we have a Dana 60 front axle and Sterling 10.5 rear already and are currently having 4.30 gears installed with a Detroit locker for the rear and a air locker for the front, I sourced a rebuilt NV271 transfer case, and have a shopped lined up to rebuild my transmission.

Right now we are in the parts gathering stage so any help and pointers are greatly appreciated. Thats our story for now. Thanks for any and all help in advance.

Jacob

Welcome and congrats. You might consider a build thread in the appropriate sub-forum. There will be interested people and it would be a good place to ask questions.

Thank you for the welcoming. I will start a build thread once I get started. Right now I’m in the gathering parts stage.

Welcome Jacob! Excited to see your build.
Look for another MGMW/ExpoVans 4x4 owner in Queen Creek, guy named Avi. He may be on SMB forums too.
