New van owner

Hey everyone, after lurking for a while here I finally signed up - though I can usually be found on expedition portal.

A few months ago I purchased a stock 2010 E-350 with the 6.0 and will be starting the 4x4 conversion in January using a Ujoint kit.

I spent about a year searching for this van - I wanted a 2009-2010 E-350 with the 6.0, full Ford options, and low mileage. After months of searching I had found 2 - one that sold before I could take a look at it, and the one that I purchased.

It had been used as a contractor vehicle so had a ladder rack on top and bins in the back

Thanks for the welcome. I haven't done much work on Fords at all, so on a pretty steep learning curve right now. Seems like for every half hour of work on the van I'm doing 2 hours of research in the manuals, circuit diagrams, online, etc.

We want to run out to Moab for Christmas (dragging my Range Rover on the trailer) so that will be a good shakedown before we start in on the serious conversion work.
