We travel to southern Utah quite a bit and wated something with hard sides an a comfortable space to sleep and live in while we are on the road. i hope to find ideas and advice to build out my rig right the first time.

Welcome to the forum!
There's a lot of great info on here and a lot of good homebuild vans to gather ideas from. I too frequent SE Utah and have built my van to accommodate those adventures.
Add double the time and 1/3 more money than you think will take to build your van. Trust me.

i am going to play the budget by ear. i have the van mechanically exactly where i want it but the design and build out are the next hurdle. i am giving myself a year to finish the build. i have a good friend who just redid the interior in his Offshore boat and it is stellar so i have him to help with it. Ill knock it out one thing at a time. thanks for the advice!
