So much to learn

Hello all! My wife and I are on a two year plan to sell our existing home and purchase a sportsmobile. Might go used, somewhat leaning tore are new since we plan on a two-year adventure at least initially. Understand Ford is no longer making a diesel option?

Garage
Welcome. There are several threads about gas vs diesel on the site so there is no need to re hash all that but even though I love my diesel, the price difference between that and a v-10 will pay for a lot of gas on the road. I'd suggest keeping about 15,000 bucks handy to bullet proof the 6.0 diesel engine or try for an older 7.3...they're out there. All SMB is offering in a heavy duty 4x4 platform is the cutaway model. Then there is the Sprinter. Perhaps the 4x4 Sprinter is worth a look? A little limited on what type of terrain it handle if going extreme isn't your thing. Everybody has different ideas of what they need for a full time travel vehicle.
