Aluminess rear bumper and storage box, Aluminess nerf bars, hidden shore power connection and water fill and drains.
Wish List: Quigley front bumper
Interior
Danhard AC, induction stove, refrigerator, microwave, water heater, porta potty stored under gaucho, lockbox for laptops/valuables (Tuffy), under-floor storage box, propane delete.
Wheels, Tires, & Suspension
BFG KM3 M/T tires (LT295/70R17), Black Rhino "Armory" wheels (17x9.5") with thin spacers, rear factory LSD, rear air springs and compressor (AirLift), 3" body lift (Quigley)
Random Thought: Admittedly the wheels are kinda silly and perhaps unnecessary. However they make me break into a smile every time I see the van.
Under the Hood
6.0L gas engine, HD transmission, 4x4 conversion (Quigley).
Random Thought #1: Has anyone ever come across a supercharger kit for a GM van? Asking for a friend...
Random Thought #2: Who knew that adding an aftermarket locking gas cap to a late-model GM van with the factory E85 flex fuel option would mess with your fuel mileage in a big way? Even when you never ever buy E85 gas. I would love to discuss this issue with anyone more knowledgeable than I on the matter.
Systems, Solar, & Electronics
Second alternator system (Nations 300A alternator plus Balmar external regulator), 200AH AGM battery, 3000W inverter (Magnum), cell booster (WeBoost), wide-angle rearview camera system (Brandmotion FullVUE camera/mirror)
Wish List: Lithium battery
Favorite Destinations
Any location off the beaten path. Strong preference towards dirt roads, mountain passes, hot weather, and states west of the Mississippi River.
I promise to provide more pics and descriptions shortly. Virtually all my photos (except the one I posted) were taken before the very recent penthouse mod (thanks again, SMB-Austin). So I'm looking for the planets to align (e.g. time to hand wash then some dry sunny weather for day or so) in order to get some quality pics.
