1996 Sportsmobile - what are the rear brackets??

Greetings SM Brothers and Sisters!

My 1996 E250 SM has a removable rear bed. There are three brackets on the drivers side and I hope someone can tell me their intended use. One is an upholstered ‘bar’ n the cabinet and two are metal brackets with Velcro.

Your expertise is appreciated!! Guesses are also welcomed .

Please see the pic. It posted upside down

Yeah, I can't make heads or tails of that pic either. I can tell you that if it's a 96 it's probably some arcane option that you won't be able to find the rest of nowadays.
I had a 95, draw a cirle around what you mean in a better pic or two and we can try to help.

To post photos without them flipping, you need to first resize the image smaller. Or you can download Tapatalk(a forum app) and you can post photos right from your phone, easy!
Is that behind the rear closet? If you’re talking about the upholstered piece on what should be the top, looks to be what SMB is famous for, a bunch of filler trim pieces hiding whatever’s behind or under it. The silver bracket piece looks like it’s one of those extending coat hooks, like a drawer slide, does it slide out? Probably something the previous owner installed and not from SMB.
Here’s the image flipped, but I still think we’re missing part of the bigger picture.....

Thanks so much - the two red circles are around the small metal brackets with Velcro on them.
