2006 E350 6.0 with Sportsmobile 4x4 steering gear and pitman arm

I asked about this before and received some good answers but there's still some confusion. Most suggested they used original equipment in like kind vans but Sportsmobile Texas just said both items are modified by Sportsmobile. Can anyone speak to that? I need both replaced and obviously I need to use the right parts. I appreciate your thoughts. Thinking about Redhead.

Can’t you just give sportsmobile the vin# and they tell you exactly what’s been modified on your particular van, and what you need to order?

Do you receive the original Sportsmobile binders from the prior owner? If so, There should be an outline of all the parts used on the suspension which were 'special'...including alignment spec's (which you really need to provide to any Shop that may be performing this service).
Another avenue you may attempt: Anytime I've needed clarification on specific Sportsmobile parts/design I contacted Peter Del Toro at Sportsmobile West, he (along with everyone else from that Shop) moved to Field Van when the transition took place. If it were me, I would reach out for him - He's always been very helpful & accommodating. let me add I haven't conversed with Peter in about 1.5 to 2 years, so I can only assume he's still with them.
