217 Econolines on Craigs list

I'm looking for another van and happened to check the Portland Ore listings on Craigslist. Wow, those of you that live near there are pretty lucky if your looking for parts or complete vans. There were 217 listings under Econoline, including more parts vans listed than I have seen in total in all my visits to different yards. Clearly I've been looking in the wrong places. Too bad I'm so far away.

When are you going to give us an update on the cell phone/SIM card tracker? Did I miss an update about your install or are you just old and lazy??

Still eyeing that lone Carr super hoop I saw in your last Hot Dog post. Talk to your wife yet?

I had a bit of trouble and ran out of time, so I couldn't finish it before heading back to work in Alaska. The install and wiring went quickly, but I discovered that the door switch that trips the unit didn't work. My dome lights have never worked and now I know why. There are three wires to the switch but the hot wire is dead. It seems that power comes from the remote door lock / unlock module. Unfortunately, that module is located behind all the cabinets on the drivers side. My easy solution will be to simply install a new switch, since the unit will trip with either a + or a - signal, but that's on hold till fall. Otherwise, it's easy to install........Oh yea, old, FAT and lazy seems to slow me down now.

Ha ha I know, he (the hoop) actually told me yesterday he wish I would relieve him of his duties with the hot dog so he could go be with his fellow hoops. I could always just remove it and see if my wife notices or cares...

That sucks. BTW, I never said "fat". We're all just somewhat "round"
