285/75/16 Tire Pressure

What have you all found to be best pressure for highway? I'm at around 53psi right now, look ok, maybe feel a touch bouncy but not too bad. I'm just trying to avoid funky wear.

Thanks!

I have those size BFG AT KO2, on a RB50 and I am running 60psi up front and 80 in the rear tires on the highway. Working good so far!

If I were you I would just go weigh your front axle and then rear axle and adjust your pressures from there. Then if your really worried about wear do the chalk test and dial it in.

By the way. I have a sticker on the drivers side jam from Sportsmobile, that has the recommended inflation pressures (albeit for different size tires now) and GAWR info. That should be a good starting point. There is no pure right or wrong here. What feels good, stable and gets good mileage on the highway would not be best in other circumstances. Others might want to sacrifice some mileage for more comfort.

I'm running 55F/65R on the same size tires. You really need to weigh the van and set the tire pressure according to the Tire Inflation chart for that size tire/weight.
