Hummm, I always thought cruise control resulted in better mileage. Perhaps without, you tend to slow some on the hills? What effect do you think adding even taller tires with 3.73's had?

Tires none.
When cruize ingaged it stayes in high rpm longer. If you do not use cruize while towing its easier to keep engine in Happy RPM's.
I am more useto the older 4 sp auto than the newer 5 sp.
Love this newer 4x4 but older 2x4 still out works it
