I just......this morning.... bought a 2016 144" high roof 4wd cargo van with the hi-lo tranny. I bought it locally from Smothers MBZ here in Santa Rosa. After reading all of the posts I could find both on this forum and the Sprinter forum I'm convinced the Sprinter will do 90% of what I did off road with my RB Quadvan. I will give up following PJPV and Tapatio and DaveB on some trips but will sleep in a heated, insulated, plumbed, toileted vehicle built by GTRV. Now comes the hard part. Propane, yes/no, diesel heat yes/no. How much water storage? Solar...2 panels or one? Floor plan? Actually harder when you can design your own rather than pick one from the brochure!!

Congrats! Spend the money and go diesel for your heat, cooktop, etc. Talk to Claude (Pschitt). I don't think you'll regret it. Solar? Cover the roof! Water? Put it where the beer isn't.

I do agree. Lots of decisions. Have fun making them.

Awesome Chris! Can't wait to see the new rig. Look forward to joining you and Ruth on the inaugural trip.

So, were you able to find one on the lot, or did you order it? Either way, enjoy it.
