One more thing..I am going to upgrade the master cylinder to the one that supports the pressure switch. That jumpered wire solution is great, but it removes a safety feature of vans with cruise control.

For starters maybe list WHAT you're working on? Year, fuel type, do you have VSC or cruise control from the factory?

You first need to check for a flat connector located under the degas bottle on the driver's side inner fender:

More images of this connector:

If you don't have this connector present its nearly impossible to install a factory VSC. Additionally finding the necessary parts would also be nearly impossible.

If you can't add factory VSC a company like Rosta would be a good choice for adding this feature.

That connector is for the "low brake fluid" warning lamp in the instrument cluster, has nothing to do with VSC.

I also have an '03 and it has the connector I pictured above as it has the same type cable-pulled VSC as my 2000 E250.

Whats that long flat connector for? I am trying to add cruise to my 04 e250 and I haven't seen anyone talk about that connector till now. I've got the steering wheel and spiral cable but not sure if I need what plugs into that connector in the picture
