I ran a 91 van similar to this one for 13 years and 100,000 miles until I finally found a 05 SMB that fit my wants, 2 years ago. My biggest concern on yours is the sticky cylinder, what ever that is. I found no difficulty obtaining parts. I would view this as a short term camper, not something your going to try and trick out or keep for 10 years. Mine had plenty of small issues but the core vehicle was solid. I sold mine for 3500 to a friend. It was a better van than this one but I just wanted it gone. I would say if it runs well buy it, avoid it if it doesn't. Good luck...
