Anybody have a good idea for a vehicle compan?

\Has anybody ever dealt with one of these companies? And does anybody have a recommendation for a reputable one?

Tough call, these are heavy and large vehicles. When I was in discussion with SMB about a warranty repair they insisted on a driver instead of putting the van on a truck, although I know they transport them between locations (e.g. 4x4 going to Indiana) however those are not fully built.

You're not going to tell us where it is are you?

Give SMBw a call. They have their own driver, but maybe you can synch your schedule with a delivery they might be making to the east coast. That way you could share costs.

One source that was recommended to me since I plan on shipping some vehicles when I move, is www.Uship.com You receive bids and then select your shipper. You can also review customer feedback. Another source (at least for feedback) is www.transportreviews.com/

I spoke to Sportsmobile the other day about this very question. Lynn recommended...

First Choice Auto Transport.
888-262-3010

She said they use them.

I worked out transportation from my SMB from Houston to Oregon. Changed my mind as it was cheaper, easier and faster for me to fly down there and drive it back. Never turn down the opprotunity for a road trip...never!

My guess is BigRedVan from ColoradoKen. There should be more deals than loans floating around right now. Should be interesting.
