Anyone have any good pics or tips for a Norcold fridge removal?

Hello SMB Forum Peeps, I just picked a replacement CRL window for the driver side and upon further inspection, it looks like I may need to remove the fridge temporarily to access the window frame screws from inside. Does anyone here have any good fridge removal pics or tips. I noticed the bottom black trim pops off and the door is removable but I want to slide out whole fridge without ruining the cabinet/counter around it. thx in advance for any tips/pics.

I'd suggest including pictures of your particular refrigerator and the make/model if you can find that. On my Norcold, it's simply screwed in to the the cabinet walls through the front frame with four screws. Two to the left of the door and two to the right. Once these screws are removed, mine only needs a little sliding back and forth to remove it.

thanks, Steve. it's a Norcold DE0041TL (~4cf) and I've searched around the entire fridge for mounting screws but cannot seem to find any. I'll try looking under the black trim sides - I just fear breaking the strips when talking them off. I popped off the bottom trim strip without issue but the sides are puzzling me. any tips to get these off? thx

My screws were located on the outside of the cabinet (2 screws on left side and two on the right) - they went through the cabinet into the side of the Fridge ...is that where you are looking?

Bebopsteve, looks like your refrigerator is newer than mine with a different mounting style. Hope, Twoxentrix's description will pan out. You've probably already looked, but if not, look up the owner's manual on Norcold's site and it should show how the refrigerator is mounted. Good luck!

Thanks Guys, I figured out how to get the screws out after gently peeling the side molding away from their mounting frame (pics attached). pulled the fridge, broke down the counter/cabinet and replaced the side window just as the rain started here this afternoon. Thanks for again for the tips.

Handle the trim with care, as it gets a little brittle with age/heat...
I've pulled same model several times, got one very little stress fracture on a piece of trim....

I've got the same fridge! Those side plastic bezels are vibrating against the cabinet trim they are pressed against. How do they come off exactly? You said you peeled yours off. Were they glued or how are they attached?

On a side note, is it worth taking out the fridge to clean the rear once in a while? Could it help it be more efficient and run less often?
