It was not an option when I got mine. They list "custom paint" on their website now but I believe it is still just paint, just non-standard colors. The BuckStop came with a very durable textured powdercoat finish. They each cost about $2,000 with the options I wanted. For that price, powdercoating should be standard. And doing it new powdercoating only adds negligible cost, since good paint job will require similar prep time.
Also the bumper can't handle the 6,000 pounds of tongue weight its advertised to. I had to pull mine of and straighten the brackets with a torch. I will be modifying the bumper mounts before I put a heavy vertical load on it again (possibly by mounting a receiver below the Reunel). Granted, its the only bumper rated for towing that high, but a standard class-5 receiver has a much more robust method of attaching to the frame.
