Re: Anyone willing to rent their Sportsmobile near UT or ID?

Medicfernando was very kind to show us his SMB. We were very impressed with both the vehicle and the owners. Thank you very much for your hospitality medicfernando. Hopefully once we get one we or even sooner we can travel together.

That looks like the quintessential SMB experience. I need to keep that in mind since the rental question comes up all the time. If you do let us know how it goes- I'm really curious as to the expense too.
They look like a pretty neat outfit. They had a pricing tab on their web page and it looked like they were wanting $2,200 for four days.

You're also welcome to check out ours- a Quigley set up on an EB 350, with the 7.3 PSD and an EB 50 layout. Also in Emigration Canyon.

You are welcome Tony. It was good to meet you, your wife and son. Let me know how the search goes and when you get one. Cheers

$2,200 for 4 days, makes me feel like I'm saving big bucks by owning one.

We want the eb50 floor plan. We are looking at used ones. Thanks for all your support. We would still be up for a rental if someone else is.

Many thanks to all that helped. We have struck a deal to purchase one of the respondents used vans and they will be switching to a Sprinter platform. Once again, thanks for all your help, we're excited to be SMB owners and hopefully I can contribute or give back to the forum.

I hope I didn't dig this up too much from the dead, sry if people get cranky.

Warnerd9:
Understood, he put the tires on himself and it was his call. The writing was on the wall, he just wanted to go fast and he paid for it.

They already had a high CoG with the factory tires and portal axles.

How would you suggest I find someone in Salt Lake or nearby areas to make a request? Do you know of anyone that might be interested?

Try posting an ad in Ksl.com, its UT/ID's main communication for ads to jobs to vehicles etc. try them out if you haven't already found/tried a SMB if not bought one by now.
