Re: Attn anyone who had westfalia and then SMB - Your thoughts?

I have gone through this before it is no big deal. Our local county sheriff has a deal with the towing company that his cousin owns and so they make a big deal in preventing "un-authorized" towing. Although the judge dismisses the tickets I can't seem to get anyone to do anything about the racket taking place... So I just get out there and rack it up instead. Every storm that hits I have a goal to try and beat my last record in tickets so far I am up $300.00.

Sounds like you need some "Walking Tall" action where you live. Glad to hear some people still stand up for what's right. I'm sure there are many people who are truly thankful for what you do. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Professor paddle, thanks for the input! That is fantastic because you had pretty much my dream rig (Syncro with Subaru (actually, TDi would be my true dream syncro)) and you had the kind of issues that sound so believable and to be expected from the old VW.

I'm totally convinced i want to get a 4x4 E-250/350. Just need to make the move now. Like i said, my westy is for sale, but it won't move quick at the price i'm listing it at. And that is just fine. I'll take my time and get enough money out of it to get a good start on my next rig.
