Hey Don, long time no talk. Thanks for the offer. I gotta fly in and inspect and pay anyway. I’ll end up driving it myself if I don’t use a shipper.

Thanks but he’s unresponsive. Tried his webpage, ih8mud and texted him to no avail.
Gonna end up driving this bad boy home after hearing all the nightmare stories about brokers and carriers. Also since no one has a drop off terminal like DAS used to it makes it super inconvenient trying to find someone trust worthy to leave the van and keys with while we wait for a carrier to pick it up. I’m not from Denver nor do I have the time to wait around for days or weeks for a carrier.

Ocsmb, your first two hours in the Van will be like a first date (little awkward), but then you’ll breath a sigh of relief when you discover you both have a lot in common - You’ll enjoy that trip thoroughly !

I am a multi van owner, a fleet truck seller and shipping broker/transporter for over 10 years now. Next time any of you guys need to ship something please call me. example: I just shipped a massive crane truck to the island of Saipan, so yes, I know my stuff when it come to shipping big heavy rigs. There are so many misconceptions about how this stuff works it hurts to read it. My name is Jim, my cell is 602 435 2110 and I am based in Durango CO. Have a great day.

Maybe we can sticky a thread of suggested auto carriers/brokers seeing that transporting these 9k# 9’ tall vans (referring to the 4x4 Econoline smb) is a bit of niche.
At any rate has anyone recently had success with an auto carrier they love?
Finally, are there any auto carrier terminals in Denver?
Looking to fly in, pick up my smb from the seller, drop it off at the terminal and then fly back home.
