Baja Vehicle Storage

Does any one have experience with long term vehicle storage down in Baja? I would want a location near an international airport like Loreto, Cabo, Lapaz. At the moment this is just a thought... If I had a second SMB or similar that I could just leave down in Baja, I could just fly to my van and spend a week or two with out the drive adding time or wear and tear on my primary van. At the moment I make it down once or twice a year for a few weeks at a time. If I had a van waiting for me... maybe I could go more often and spend more time sitting on the beach instead of driving down and up I5. I think it would be more cost effective than owning a house down there.

This forum seems to have an active membership and some good info. Lots of folks store RV's, boats, trailers in Baja... shouldn't be a problem finding something suitable for a van.

I've stored my rig twice in Loreto. I did a bit of shopping around and found the best spot to be the Silver King Boat Storage spot right on the water. They now have a great restaurant, and I stored my rig under the covered storage for $60/month. Their prices may have changed now but its a great family run business. Blanca the owner is super helpful and can pickup/dropoff at the airport in Loreto if needed. They have 24hour security and live right on site.
