Battery Separator / Isolator opinion needed

Hello All
Hope everyone is doing ok these days.

I have a 2012 E250
5.4 Liter
i think the alternator is 120 amps

I want to install a house battery to power some small devices.

Do any of you experts out there use something like this?

https://www.amazon.com/WirthCo-20092...71&sr=8-3&th=1

trying to keep it simple.

If going with a FET driven isolator in that current range, I would go with Blue Sea 7610 SI Series Solenoid120 Amp 12/24V ACR

thanks for the reply -
I took a look at that one but thought the WirthCo might be better b/c it has a manual overide button that allows the house battery to be used to start in the event the starting battery goes bad.
I do like Blue Sea products however.
Do yo know of a way to get this functionality from the Blue Sea ?

No, you can not with that line of their ACR's. They don't recommend for starting currents. You could step up to one of their magnetic latch relays 7620/7622 or wire in a manual switch as jump start/backup solution.

I have no real life experience with the version you posted. Their documentation did not persuade me, but it may very well be a great product.
