I use this hand pump that I got thru Amazon. The hose on the pump press fits into a short length of 1/2” polyethylene hose which has a female hose thread fitting on the opposite end. I place the water can on the counter, pump a few strokes to set up the siphon and let it do the work.

I use a beer brewing siphon with plastic tubing that feeds into the fill inlet on the tank. I bought a couple of Super Siphons to test them out and I can't get them to work for some reason. The beer siphon works really well for me. Something like this is what I use:

Fancy it's not...
I either pour the water directly into the funnel or I have a collapsible 5 gallon jug that I set on the adjacent counter with a clear plastic tube connected to the spout that gravity feeds into the fixture.
As you can see, I spared no expense in the construction!

I use my Shurflo water pump to fill the water tank from inside the van.
I tapped into the original PEX pipe that goes from the freshwater tank to the water pump with a "T" fitting and added a siphon hose. I also added 2 flip lever valves, one on the line to the freshwater tank and one on the line going to the new siphon hose. To fill the tank, I bring a jug of water into the van, put the siphon hose into the jug, flip the valve to close off the freshwater tank outflow line, open the valve to the siphon hose and also open the main freshwater tank fill valve in back (easy to reach from inside the van). I then turn on the water pump and let the pump transfer water from my jug to fill the tank. The whole process takes about 1-2 minutes and doesn't require gravity.
I also use this siphon hose setup to winterize the lines with RV antifreeze in the fall using my water pump. Works slick and fast.
