Brake pad recommendations

Hello all,
I have a 2012 E350 Quigley 4x4.
It is an RB style build. No pop top
Quigley informed me F350 super duty parts of the same year are what the rig takes.
Getting ready to change brake pads. Would like to hear what others are using.
I do pull occasionally a small boat or trailer.
Thanks for your information.

Hawk pads seem to have been the fave for a long time. (LTS or SD).

EBC scintered are considered one of the best and that's what I used for my last brake job. Check and true those rotors

Napa Ultra Premium are by the best I've used. And by best, I mean very good stopping power, very good heat tolerance, and good service life. I've tried many of the other "premium" aftermarket pads, and results were all around as good. I've regularly towing 13,000 pounds.

Thanks everyone for the good info.
I was looking up the NAPA Ultra premiums and saw they had Akebono ACT PRO pads. The are ceramic.
I generally use Akehono on my BMWs with good success.
Anyone got an opinion on these?

Thanks again.

John

I tried ceramics once (not ACT so YMMV) and I didn't like the cold stopping performance. Braking power was nearly non-existent the first stop-sign of the morning, and there was also a noticeable braking lag when first hitting the brakes after cruising on the highway in cold weather.

I went with Powerstop brakes and rotors when I swapped in the Super Duty axles and I've been pretty happy with them so far.
