Damn, I had forgot about that one. Two broken windows then...one at the dealership and one at home. The one at home cost me a couple of thousand to fix... the cost came with a 6' fence and automatic gate.

daveb: It sounds from your experience and from everything else on this thread that those windows should simply not break from heat alone. I like 1der's idea of the possibility of some underlying flaw in the originally installed window that I got. If that was the case, SMB North handling it as a warranty issue was the right thing for them to do. And they did!
Hopefully the frame isn't tweaked. I also wonder about a flaw in the glass. If some A-hole threw ice water on it I could see a problem there. Also a light tap of a sharp tool can do that and be very hard to see where it was hit.
