Can’t post photos?

I had to buy a new IPad as my old one died just prior to departing on my current road trip. My old one wouldn’t allow me to post more than one photo at a time, and now the new one (a 2020 IPad Air Updated with the latest software) will not allow me to post even one. When I go to the advanced tab and select “choose file”, click on the desired photo, select the desired size, and click “upload” I get a message “please select a file to attach”. Any ideas how to fix this?

Arctic: if you just want to “Attach” one photo to the end of your thread, go down to Additional Options, choose Manage attachments, then Up to Choose File. It’ll only let you choose one from your own files and must be in one of those formats mentioned. Hit Upload, wait till it does, then “close this Window”. You won’t see your photo until you preview.

If you want to more pics, you have to upload them to your album and then copy the BBCode for each one to your post.

Or get Tapatalk, formatted for iPhone or iPad, you can upload multiple images right from your photos. I find it super easy to post, access photos and edit.

When I'm sharing photos here I'll first post them to my Imgur account then use their BBC code copy feature to post here in the body of my reply or thread.

That's worked for me so far---I don't believe this site hosts photos directly inside a reply so using the album feature Otter mentions might be the easier way?

That’s exactly how I’ve done it for years, but suddenly with the new IPad it doesn’t work. It’s hard to teach an old dog new tricks.

Hmmm. I have the new IPad, too. If you want to troubleshoot this, let me know.
