I do find it ironic that some of those that complained in this thread do not have a donation coin next to their name.

I had a coin, I think it expired/disappeared.

My point is the new site owner doesn't need to espouse enthusiasm for Sportsmobiles (or Class B RV's, or kayaking, or Royals, or Jeeps, or Cruisers, Trawlers, Maxums, Touaregs, Camaro's, Mustang's, Crosstrek's.... or any of the 47+ forum sites he owns).

He doesn't own an SMB, doesn't drive a SMB... what matters is what he is going to do with the forum.

It is no different than Facebook, just at a smaller scale. Zuckerberg doesn't have to like the cat videos I post on Facebook, or post his own cat videos, but if the site continues to make an acceptable trade of free features to users in exchange for him being able to grow and invest in his platform, that's fine for most people. Call me cynical.

Jage, thanks for building something great that and I do hope that it continues to be great. Time will tell. This sort of thing should be fun and if youve been burdened by it then by all means you shouldn't feel guilty handing over the reins. Andy, you've got some shoes to fill and some expectations to meet without a doubt. Here's hoping you'll get a fair shake and that you will make good on it.
