Personally I record all my phone conversations with Progressive. That way I have a record outside their documentation of what they told me. I sincerely miss my Indiana Farmers agent, but I have yet to come across one that is as decent (e.g. they're all worse than Progressive).

I belong to AAA. I recently bought and added my SMB. Went down to remove a vehicle I sold and checked on the policy they had given me for the SMB. Instantly I saw a problem as it was listed as a utility vehicle instead of a Motorhome. In calling back today to rectify the situation with the proper personel, I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to list it as a MH with a ageed to replacement price. This also dropped my policy price by 160.00. I explained that this is a 4x4 adventure MH and that I needed to know I was covered everywhere and for all situations. She assured me I was, but that I should upgrade my towing/membership card to include the Off road rv/motorcycle coverage (another 30.00). This all sounds fantastic, but I will go through the printed policy when it arrives. Good luck and check your policies!

I'm also with So Cal AAA and didn't have any problems insuring the SMB for actual cash value. I did register it as a primary, every day driver with AAA. I had a lot of trouble even finding other options back in Oct 2007 and those that I did find were about twice as much as AAA.

With all of that being said, I haven't had any claims yet...
