Re: cleaning penthouse plastic windows

I used a 3m plastic polish.

I got it from a shop that sells automotive painting and repair supplies. It is used on convertible top windows.

I've been using moisturized aloe baby wipes. Works for me.

I haven't needed to clean mine yet, but I second this. Much milder on the plastic I bet. Mostly I just vacuum the bugs out of the bottom of mine. I never knew a pop top would be such a bug trap but it is!

Most motorcycle shops carry it.

Re: cleaning penthouse plastic windows

Have found great results with
http://303products.com/index.php/protec ... cmfqsvmp20

Boat industry uses it for vinyl. It also works great on the zippers, since it is (I believe) a water based silicone, so the zips are like new. It leaves a slippery surface that can be wiped down easily.
This infomercial is a bit heavy handed on the add, but shows the product

Re: cleaning penthouse plastic windows

I have used Plexus on motorcycle windscreens and helmet visors for years. I've used it on the vinyl windows in our Sportsmobile for 4 years with terrific results. Easy to use and the vinyl windows end up looking like new.
