The wood is warped on the inside now from the water and the screws that hold the wood to the top are rusted. I guess I could just paint it and replace the screws and try to seal the wire hole...
SMB says they can replace all this but now I am not sure everything is necessary like you say. Disappointed for sure.

Penthouse Rubber Seal Replacement ?

A while back - maybe 2020 or 2021 - there was a post/discussion regarding replacement of the rubber seal / banding around the penthouse top as it sits down onto the roof. Anybody know/remember which replacement seal that Trim-Lock sells that is the best fitment ? Stock number and measurements if someone remembers ?

Appreciate any input !

Does anyone know the max length of the through bolts in a SMB top? The existing ones appear to be 1/4" diameter. McMaster only seems to have up to 3" long in 316 SS fully threaded.

Doing another run of T Bolts. Please email if you want a set. It’ll be 2 weeks from the time I place the order.

$165 shipped to you.

Includes:
1 set of 11 “T Bolts” which are 1/4-20 bolts welded to custom cut 1/8” thick, 2.5” diameter washers
11 nylock nuts and flat washers for the interior.
All 316 stainless steel.

Bolts are 4” long and you trim off what you don’t need for your application with a dremel/hacksaw or the like.

YOU SUPPLY THE SEALING METHOD OF YOUR CHOICE. You can seal them with butyl tape or a quality silicone caulk under the washer. As a yacht captain, my go to is 3M UV4000 fast cure.

If you’re repainting or bedlining your top, install T bolts AFTER it’s coated.
