DIA airport Parking

I have only used covered parking garage (5 level concrete garage) right @ the airport. I park on East side. Level 1 is one level below street level. I go in at street level 3rd/last entrance and usually always find a spot. Early in the week & at end of the week it is easy to find a spot, mid-week you have to look a little longer. I drive my car but looked at height when I went on business trip last month I think it was 8' as I thought I would just take off the top of my van. $18/day $2/hr up to $18. These prices were when I checked last month/Airport prices has been the same for years.

From pictures of covered parking @ off Airport locations it looks to just be a flat cover over the spaces like at apartment complexes.

Using Denver RTD's park-and-ride lots to access the SkyRide bus system to DIA is the cheapest option. Some of the lots are free for the entire time you are on your trip, but even the ones that charge are cheap. The SkyRide bus is $8.00-$12.00 each way. This has worked very well for us.

Yes, when they lowered the clearance by changing the exit they didn't change the clearance marker at the entrance. I had a handful of suits waiting to escort me backwards out the entrance and had to take off my pickup topper to fit now. So clearance is an issue, and I believe it's exactly 8'. No way my van is fitting.

But I've never used the off terminal parking- shuttle and bus rides are second only to plane rides in how awfully motion sick I get.
