Re: Door locks

JS,

So where did I see that vehicle on TV last year??

On the topic of the bullet resitant film... this is something we researched before our build. It is thick. Most of the product is made for building windows where they are fixed position. It sounds like a lot of the vehicle applications are where the windows are also fixed.

We found that it would be very expensive and that the thickness of the film was going to be a problem with the door window mechanism and fit.

The folks we talked to are expecting the price to come down and the thikness to decrease in the near future.

My buddy uses these locks on his sea trains down in the ghetto and nobody gets into them. My forty two cents.
