Joanna, my WEDCO water cans fit my old Baja Basket but will not fit next to my new Baja Box. Go figure.

Scepter Cans

Joanna ,
Here are a two source's for the Scepter Product's that we have used during the last year for various Scepter item's .
# 1 www.brigadequartermaster.com
# 2 www.actiongear.com
I think that one or the other should be able to satisfy your need's . Both of these sources are loaded with other item's that that can be utilized for your outdoor pursuit's , Good Luck

Hey, thanks to everyone for the links to fuel cans!
The county has plans to put fuel tankers along the hurricane evacuation route from the island, but I would so much rather have a few extra gallons of my own on board. That and keeping my tank as close to full during the season should help ease my mind.

actiongear.com redirected me to brigadequartermaster.com. brigadequartermaster.com cancled my order for the fuel cans because I wasn't millitary. Unless I can get a note from my mother saying I'm a SeAL I'm thinking I'm out of luck. I haven't found anyone else selling them either.

I also noticed that even BQM has a much reduced selection of Scepter cans from what they have had in the past. The blue water tanks we bought are missing from the selection.

Looking for a loop hole.....could you tell them you are with a local militia?

It crossed my mind. We're too close to Idaho. I don't see it going well.

I was able to...

I was able to purchase these cans for our FEMA US&R Team previously. We're oftentimes able to purchase items such as these due to our Federal Emergency Status. I'll check my Govt & Military contacts to see if I can buy some and let you guys know. If I can get a bunch, I'll just get a big order and see how it works.

Maybe it's time to have a conversation with Aluminess to see if they would consider re-tooling their measurements to accept Wedco cans. Does anyone think they'd be interested?

I get laws and regulations. I do think it's a little silly that BQM will sell me a 7 foot spear but not a green gas can with a yellow strap.

That'd be great. I'd jump on some.

How off is it? Is it something that could be finessed with a hammer or grinder?

How long have the Scepters been unavailible? It sounds like a recent thing, maybe. When I talked to aluminess about they seemed very friendly and eager to do the right thing. You'd hope they'd jump right on it.
