If you are lucky a 15 passenger might even come with full floater rear end, or just as likely as the cargo would. the seat mounting pints are excellent floor and cabinet tie downs so no need to put more holes into stock floor.
Insulating windows is easily done, the rest of the insulation is the same. Glass or metal are both great conductors of heat and cold, so you are going to put the same insulation in there.
re: stealth - I understand this as well. If the rear windows on the sides at the back are too conspicuous, they can be replaced with metal inserts or wrapped to match the body.
Now, if you are going 4x4, stealth is going to be compromised especially if bumpers, wheels, etc. are going to be part of the mods.
I will PM you one van I found this morning that is certainly attractive.

I have seen those metal inserts you are talking about that go over the windows. Definitely will consider going passenger and using that as an option. Will check out the van you pm’d as well.
Thanks!

I installed window blanks in my passenger van. This version doesn't go over the glass. These blanks require removing the glass and bolting in the panels.
My van is lifted and 4x4, so not stealthy. I replaced the rear side windows with the blanks for privacy and for future mounting points for gear.
Also, mine is EB 4x4 with 4.56 gears. It wont' win any races but it has plenty of power for my needs. I don't tow.

Personally, I think the passenger vans are more stealth than a cargo van. Just black out or panel over the windows from the inside and they will look like they are heavily tinted.
The EB vs. RB discussion has been going on for a long time. Right now I own both a E250 EB SMB and a E250 RB Pleasure-Way Traverse. I’m pretty experienced driving EB vans (I learned to drive at 16 in my dad’s extended Dodge Maxivan with no windows!), but the RB Ford feels a LOT easier to drive around town than my EB. But the EB wins hands-down for living space inside. It doesn’t seem like those extra inches would matter much, but they do.

Stuck in the van while camping during inclement weather, the EB wins hands down over the RB. With our front seat swiveled and the rear couch/bed in couch mode, we have 8 feet of space between the 2 seating areas. When we were looking, I seriously considered the RB as I really like the look better, and coming from a VW Vanagon, either Ford would be an improvement in real estate. Both the roominess of the EB finally won me over.
With a more aggressive tire and a 2" lift the EB started growing on me.

Is that why I keep thinking my EB looks more like an RB than other EBs?

Jeff Baldwin has a couple EB E350s with the 5.4L. In white of course. If you want anything other than white, you're probably SOL.
