for the process below, you will need the weight for each axle. if you don't know, find the closest CAT scale to weigh the van - https://catscale.com/cat-scale-locator/

1. goto this website and select the "load inflation" button
https://www.falkentire.com/tires/care-safety-warranty
2. find the tire on the left.
3. take the front axle weight, divide by two (for 2 tires) and find the tire pressure.
4. take the rear axle weight, divide by two or four (for two or four tires) and find the tire pressure

we choose a pressure slightly above the listed pressure as a buffer.
hope this helps.
My van is 10040 lbs, full tank, without water.

Front axle is ~4400 (2200 per tire)
Rear axle ~5700 tires (2850 per tire)

I have the LT285/75 R18

The table says the load limits are 40 and 55 psi, respectively.

So if I understand this correctly, I should inflate the front tires say 50 psi, and the rear 65 psi for paved road driving?

Thanks for clarification.

I don't know my weight, so how I do it for pavement:
- chalk on the ground, inflate to a rough number you think is valid
- drive across the chalk under the load you want to know
- tire not fully covered --> decrease
- tire fully covered --> inflate step by step in 5psi step or so until full coverage still given

gravel:
- reduce to ~50% of pavement pressure as general rule of thumb
- go and feel whether or not the sidewalls get warm
- not warm and ride comfortable enough --> you're good
- not warm, not comfortable enough --> reduce by 5psi
...
