Fender vents?

Has anyone looked into putting 08 F-series superduty fender vents on their van? I would like to reduce engine compartment temps a bit and the superduty vents are functional. They would look pretty good painted black I reckon.

I think myriadmyriad was experimenting on some type of vents to assist cooling the 6.0.

myriadmyriad has vents all over and extra fans, he even went so far as to take off the Aluminess... pretty sure his still runs hot though.
