Oohhh. There's my dream van Mikracer! Whose is that? Where can I see more pics?
That said, I hope ultralite shows a pic or two of his interior soon. He has the most user friendly SMB interior layout I've ever seen, which includes a shower and big fridge. I hope he doesn't mind me taking lots of pics and measurements right before I build my next van.

I saw it on the SMB Texas preowned for sale page. Its already been sold so there was only this one picture. Looks really sweet though!

Found the 'Details' page with more pics, even though you can't get to it directly anymore.

It was great meeting you back a couple weeks ago with Eric. I looked for but couldn't find your posts and just happened to run across them. The bus was well received and looked great!

You know I took the VW off road about 2 weeks ago in the mountains, got into some steep grades with switchbacks, and got to thinking about the SMB and 4x4 in general. I'd love to have it 4WD but not sure when I'll get around to it.

WELCOME TO THE FORUM!! That VW is so cool….LOVE the color too! High Boy Heaven! There is a VW converter in ANderson, CA…they put Subaru trans etc in…very cool…I'll try to find it/thread. And off topic, how about a smilie that represents the folks of Oregon, WA, AK, and CO? Anyway…just a thought…

Re: Finally introducing my SMB
You know it took me a minute to make the connection, I was in between my first and 2nd cups of coffee. I was thinking "huh? This dude has been smoking something." And if you're from one of those states maybe you have been!
You know, I haven't been asked for drugs while driving the VW. But plenty of folks on the VW forum talk about getting profiled while driving theirs.
Anyway, I can't help you on the smiley, maybe one with a bandana headband?
