Guess we finally got to the bottom of the issue. I had no idea it would be such a popular topic when I started it! :-)

We love our tiny 24” X 32” bathroom and shower with the Thetford 5.5 gallon manual flush toilet. I am the mistress of the PP and usually empty it every 48 hours so it is not too heavy. I would rather do the march to the vault toilet, public restroom, dump station, or home bathroom every two days than run into the resident campground bear at 2 AM.

We only put urine, rinse water, and deodorant into the holding tank so emptying is not unpleasant. Toilet paper and wet wipes go into a tiny trash can in the bathroom. For solids, we line the bowl with a few sturdy paper towels, pull the T-handle slightly to allow liquids to flow into the holding tank and take care of business. Grab the clean corners of the paper towels, and drop everything into a dog poop bag along with the used toilet paper and wet wipes. Tie up securely and deposit it into the trash along with your dog waste as I know you always clean up after your dog, right?
