I love that you don't want to cut up those $40 mats b/c there is a chance they could be used in your next $100,000 van.

You can see how the passenger side really needs to be trimmed around the footwell, but she hasn't complained.

That's exactly where I thought they may have an issue but I may trim mine when they come in right at the foot well.

I was thinking it would almost help them drain better into the foot well where you could then just wipe up or have debris and liquids drain right out of the door.

Yep, still going strong. Maybe the best mats I've ever had, and almost the cheapest ($40 Amazon)
