Re: ford and voyager top

Gerrym51 - I got your e-mail and am working on getting the info for you. I have to say that I've had nothing but complaints about sleeping in my Voyager top, but I sure like the extra head room while travelling.

Re: ford and voyager top

We have a Ford E350. We have the Voyager top, made by Fiberine, installed locally. We opted for the external primer (we will be painting to match the van's exterior silver paint color), insulated, plus fiberglass skin on the inside of the top. We added sliding windows, too.

It is 6' at the center - my 5'11" husband is pleased.

Pics are in my gallery.

Re: ford and voyager top

I am currently building a bed in a voyager top for a guy. When deployed it will hang down about 8 inches below the steel roof line. This way when you are in bed you should be able to sit up right. When not in use the bed will fold up in multiple panels on a track and will be totally above the steel van roof, you can then store it to the front or the rear of the van. Like anything it does have a drawback the bed will be narrower than a normal voyager bed. But it will give you versatility. I am curious if that is the big complaint with voyager tops.

Derek - Can you post pictures and prices? I would be very interested in this conversion.

Start a new thread about CCV if you do please... it will just get buried in this one, and it wouldn't be bad to have a dedicated CCV thread.
