Re: Ford Extended Warranty

...but here is what my local Ford dealer told me.... "there is no way I can give you as good a deal as Ford Corporate is offering".... HUH??? Yep, hat is what he said.

The stuff I got was in the mail directly from Ford, NOT from a dealer. I can post some of that info tonight if it is needed.

I know when we looked for the extended warranty for our Prius, the prices offered by different dealers for the exact same Toyota-factory-product was all over the map. In that case we found a guy in NC that could not be beat and we saved about 50% on it.

...but in this case, it sounds like Papa Ford is offering the deal and cutting out the middle man (dealer)....

Re: Ford Extended Warranty

I've talked to Jay Minto a few months ago, and the only thing he said was available was the extended engine warranty. I'm still looking for the full shebang from Ford. Greg, If you've got any info on what and where, I'd sure appreciate it.

Re: Ford Extended Warranty

I called the Ford ESP number and talked to them again, and was told (once again) that if a van has been converted to 4x4 that any extended warranty (except the 7/200 on the diesel engine) is null and void.
Here I sit, in trepidation, a few weeks away from my 36k magic number....
