gray water dump

for those of you who have a gray water tank, what have you rigged up to avoid having to lay down in order to reach the dump valve? I have a 12" hose with a valve on the end which I can reach, but it flops around a bit. I'm reluctant to have a fixed setup for fear that I might accidently break it off & damage the tank. And I don't believe I want to leave it open all the time.....

I don't know what a stock van has but underneath mine has an straight pipe with a hose end and a cap on a cord, I usually leave the cap off to avoid bending and twisting.

Inside the previous owner put a bar valve right before the elbow through the floor (my gray water is under the sink). So with the cap off I can open and close the GW tank from inside the van.

Oh, I like that idea. I'm gonna steal it. You got pics you can post? That might be good in the mod area...

That inside valve is a great idea. Mine's underneath the floor. I should be able to rig up some pvc to make it easier to get to.
